Tiny House Written Report
My
tiny house was design to be comfortable and not too big. The design has the
stove and refrigerator in the walls so that there was less space taken up in
the kitchenette area. There is a closet in the hall and another next to it for
the washer and dryer. The bathroom is the size of what you would expect in a
normal-sized home, just a little more compact, and has all of the necessary
appliances. The bedding area is big enough for a queen-sized bed.
The
house is long instead of square to make it look a little more like a normal
house. The roof is designed with asphalt shingles for a nice look and the
exterior walls are to have wood shingles to give the house an overall rustic
appearance. The floor is tile in the one closet in the home so that if the
washer breaks down or overflows, the water won’t seep into the wooden floors in
the rest of the house – and the same goes for the bathroom and the components
in there.
The kitchen is designed to hold food stocked for one person and the refrigerator is big enough for anything you need to throw in there to keep cold. The table is 36’ (3’) in diameter so that the room seems bigger than it actually is. The entrance to the tiny home is design so that if you entertain guests, the primary interior area they walk into is the largest space in the house.
